That is because you are not supposed to be able to get > 33600 unless you
are using pcm technology which means one side has to be a digital
connection.

I have had a couple customers claim they have gotten > 33600 with such a
configuration but I dont believe it, I havent tried it. maybe one will see
this post and reply as to what he has done to supposedly get it working.

V.90 specifies that the link from the CO to toe ISP must be an 8k digital
channel tho.
