I have to say I think FreeServe and other Free ISP's have done us REAL ISP's
alot of good.

We originally noticed about a 5% decline in our dial up customers but an
increase of about 85% on our web hosting customers.

The Internet being free opens up the Internet to people in this country made
them realize what they are missing.
Now people who are truly serious go out and pay for an ISP for the extra
service and speed and get other services such as webhosting and leased lines.

This also caused us to lower our dial up prices to our resellers to allow them
to compete which is now caused us to Treble our modem banks (all with Pm'3s of
course) and I would say our dial up customer base has grown 45% and our
webhosting another 200%.

And when you do have problems people dont ring you up and hassle you.
They just use FreeServe!! :))

All good if you ask me.
