Re: (PM) Quick Questions About Padding

This is exactly the problem I ran into. According to Lucent, the set line
TX-level command is only a temporary command for testing the PM itself. As
soon as you reboot or reset the box it returns to 0 dbm. I had to hassle
the telco get them to set their padding for 0 dbm. According to PacBell
the proper level is -15 dbm. According to Lucent its 0 dbm. It took 3
sets of techs from PacBell before I found one who would listen and try
things rather than just spout the party line.
