I get them from time to time..

Wow I want to thank you for that web site.
Very informative. Upgrading the firmware
fixed the problem. I've been connected
for 40 minutes without any retrains or renegotiations.
Before now I would have had between 10 and 20.

Or..

What's up?, well you survived the test of "no lag" on battle.net for my
starcraft games, a test may I remind you that AOL failed time and time
again. You guys have really impressed me so far, and were definitely
right about the simplicity of setting up my own web page. Thanks for the
advice with Composer Chris, it worked out pretty good. Although I'm
still learning about HTML, I'm sure I'll get better. Thanks again for
being a better ISP than AOL. Finally a true connection to the net.

Yes, the complaints do outnumber the compliments by a large factor.
But that's always going to be the case. People don't take the time to
write to technical support to say "I'm not having any problems".

It is very discouraging to hear "I connect to you at 22000 and AOL at
53000", but I expect there many in the opposite direction that we
never hear about. Just dialing a different exchange makes a huge
difference in connection quality in our area.

A random sampling...

Everything from "happy happy" to "oh my god, no!" shows up. I hate
modems. But not everybody wants ISDN, even where it is easily and
inexpensively available.
