Yes, you need to set the syslog options. For Example:

Command> show syslog

Syslog Configuration Settings

admin-logins: auth.info
user-logins: auth.info
packet-filters: local0.alert
commands: auth.debug
termination: auth.info
nat: auth.info
ipsec: disabled
Command> set syslog
Missing parameter "", please choose from:
ADmin-logins COmmands IPSec NAT
PAcket-filters TErmination USer-logins
Command> set syslog nat ?
facility.priority - valid values are:
Facilities: kern user mail daemon auth syslog lpr news uucp
cron local0 local1 local2 local3 local4 local5 local6
local7<CR>
