(PM) lucent LT modem

I found several articles discussing this, but not of them had a solution ...

I have a user with a brand new Lucent LT Modem that connect stay connected.
He has the newest firmware (5.29) loaded and still no dice?

What next? Is there an init string or something else I can try to help
this poor guy out?

ps - works just fine on a PM2 with a bunch ole analog modems, but PM3 with
ComOS 3.8.2 doesn't work. (help!)
