Same problem i was seeing with 3.8.2, except it would start doing it after
a few days, not weeks... I was still able to telnet into it though.. but I
would see a definite drop in the number of used ports and start getting
calls that people couldn't establish a network connection. Rebooting cured
it. I put 3.8 back in and haven't had the problem again. I would rather use
the 3.8.2 modem code.. but.. owell.. I've got a ticket open on this,
probably 1000 others do as well from the amount of times i've seen it posted.
