Well, it did show a loss of sync 6 times in 9 days. This means he's
dropped 6 * 23 = 128 calls in 9 days on just 1 PRI, right?

We have the same problem on a 3 of our 10 primes, but the rest of them
have been up for quite awhile and have 0 loss of sync. I had ameritech
test the lines, but they couldn't find anything wrong. He suggested
that the errors were coming from the "customer equipment" - our PM3s.

We already get enough calls about dropping connections. Are we just
stuck with this problem, or can we do something about it?
