You're damn lucky. For some reason US West is doing something they should
not be doing - routing a *DATA* call onto a *VOICE* trunk. Technologically
this can be done (providing the switch will do it, not all can) but
procedurally this should not be allowed, and very rarely is. It is working
because the Voice trunk in this case happens to be a digital channel - but
that is not always the case, which is the point of having Data and Voice as
seperate call types in the first place. A Data call is not supposed to be
routed onto a Voice trunk.
