Several messages regarding upgrades to 3.8.2c2 have said "Things
are worse than before" or "Things are better than before" without
indicating what version of ComOS was running -before- the upgrade.
Some people are upgrading from 3.8 to 3.8.2c2, and others are
upgrading from 3.8.2 to 3.8.2c2 --- it would be very helpful if
messages indicated which version was running before the upgrade.

Also, a gentle reminder that there is a new list setup by Lucent
for modem-related issues, and that these questions really should
be on portmaster-modems by now, not portmaster-users. I for one
like seeing the modem-specific questions off in a separate area,
especially since that seems to be the most critical issue affecting
the largest percentage of PM owners...
