OK, again for the record:

This should work with ALL HCF modems:

We have been running into the same problems here when we upgraded to
3.8.2c2. There is light at the end of the tunnel tho. Here is what we have
found is a sure fire fix for the problem:

If the customer is unable to connect at all, try having them connect at a
lower speed (use +MS=V32 for 14400 connections which seems to work every
time so far.) just long enough to download the new drivers from
http://www.modulartech.com/modem.htm

Have them update the driver (it will tell them it is not the right driver
for their device, but it is) and they should be back up to 56k speeds
again.

Gabriel

BTW, subscribe to modems-diges. It has this response in digest #9. I save
all of them because most of these questions seem to be generated more than
once.
