I've managed to dig my way through the 3com site, and got hold of usr_xx.zip
which I've sent him to update his modem with, and by simply updating it with
no other changes, he's comfortably sitting at 45333 as of last night. No
commas, no extra settings.
He told me that he had already updated his modem, albeit 2 months ago, but
it sounds like he never did until yesterday.
