I've got a customer using an Atlas Periphreals modem thats been
upgraded to v.90
The user had great connects under 3.8 and 3.8.2...well..except for his
upstream...which averaged around 16200 or so... His downstream was a
full 56000.
When we upgraded our pm3 to 3.8.2c2, it fixed a LOT of problems,
except for this modem. Upstream is now 31200 which is an improvement,
his downstream decreased to 45333 which isnt too shabby...BUT...he
gets constant retrains and renegotiations...
I'm thinking that this modem has the agreesive handshake syndrome....
Does anyone know of any *extremely generic* init strings to lock the
modem down a little bit? I've tried a bunch of them but they all
return the lovely ERROR message....
Thanks :)
