Yes, our lists of failed connections daily include lots of problems
with modem garbage. Haven't yet heard much from the customer side,
but I do see that it happens and, subjectively, I see more like this
than I did pre 3.8.2c2
Our customers are still happier now, but it does appear that there might
be an increase in failed connections; sadly I have no hard data to share.
