I can vouch for the cordless phones. A friend of mine has a Cardinal
Connecta 56K modem, which usually connects at 45,333. The day he brought
home a new 900Mhz cordless phone his connection dropped to 21,600. When
he unplugged the phone it went back up to 45,333.
