The Ascend attributes appear to be a superset of the
reference (Livingston) attributes, so it appears probable that one could
use the Ascend RADIUS alone to handle both. You would have to change some
of the attribute names in your existing Livingston-style users file; there
is a list of the changes in the Ascend distribution.
I have not been able to try this myself yet due to the way my
current Livingston RADIUS has been hacked to change the login sequence.
