Ok. I thought so. How do I transfer the configuration then?

It sounds like we're back where this thread started. How can we
transfer just the location table ... or the serial port configs, or
the user table, or the filter table, or ... ?

Just a way to dump the configuration in ascii, preferably as console
commands, would do ... even just a way to post-process pmreadconf
output ... but SOME way.
