No analog conversion? This means Livingston has a DSP/software which can
convert PCM data (64000bps telephone line data) into RS232 serial data?
Or, is there a PCM <->Analog codec and a Analog <-> Rs232 modem on the
same chip with a small analog 'highway' running through the chip?
I don't see how it makes a difference. As long as my customers can
connect 99.9% of the time and we have no bit errors it will work for
me. Now, I just need to get the BRI version!
