Yes, the link is up - I have no problems traceroute packets to any host on the
Internet, or to the LAN attached to e0 (this message was sent via modem from may
home computer to the PM and through the WAN port to my provider's mail server - my
mailserver is not in good shape yet)

As for setting "serial-admin off" - I don't racall myself doing such thing, but
maybe I should turn the dip switch s1 on the Portmaster down - to turn off
diagnostic mode on s0?
