If that drifted my way you would have already heard the yelling. ;-)
I would fight such a move very, very strongly. It only benefits us to have
the manuals in your hands. When users don't have docs, they call support.
Now, if we were like some OTHER manufacturers and we forced you to pay for
all support, then it might be an underhanded way to force people to pay us -
either for manuals or for support.
Right now we ship the CD-ROM and manuals with all HW. You can order them
seperately for a price too. I don't know of plans to change that.
