Have 'em put in a 200 pair line.

NOTE: THE MOST POWERFUL DEPARTMENT OF *ANY* TELCO IS THE PUBLIC
RELATIONS DEPARTMENT!!!. Find out who heads the PR department (they are
easy to get ahold of). Take him/her out to lunch and express your 'deep
concern about <telco_name>'s ability to provide the service our industry
needs'. I did this a couple times and had an ISDN line installed at a
trade show. NYNEX (booth next to ours) couldn't even get ISDN that quick.
They also seem to work a little harder when a problem does rear it ugly head.

Just mention how displeased you are with their service. Be real nice
about it and act like you are trying to help them improve their service
by fixing your problems promptly.

The engineers, software, installer, management types are all just drones who
see their jobs being cut and don't want to 'waste any time/money'. The
PR department can get them to work harder. The Telco's image isn't so
good anyway.
