I've noticed the same thing for the past three or four weeks ( we use
sprintlink for our Internet connection ). Sprint informed us (they called us!)
that there were some problems with their east-coast backbone routers (
overloaded ) in the Washington (DC) area (OC-3 feeds) and they were in the
process of upgrading and installing new hardware to remedy the situation. I
don't know if it would affect you but some times our "backbone" connections
can get "clogged" (translation: SLOW). Oh well... Welcome to the (congested)
Internet... [ Now, if we can just get them to run OC-48 pipes ... Hmmmm ]
