This is important to remember if you are using RIP. The Portmaster(s)
without the netmask table entry will broadcast 255.255.255.0 as the
netmask, which for some reason seems to take precedence over the subnets
you may have specified in the other PM's to the Cisco.

That is a limitation of RIP(v1). OSPF will fix this when it is released.
