Hello, this is not just a livingston problem.. I am using both
Livingston Portmasters and a 16 port Cyclades board. I use mgetty 99.2
with the AutoPPP option.

It doesn't matter whether users login to the Livingston OR to the
Cyclades:

Win95 and MacIntosh work beautifully.

Most of the time W.3.1.x users login fine but when they try to use say
Netscape... (UNLESS the URL is numeric) they will get timeout eventually
and response is "Unable to locate DNS".

Sometimes it works okay, MOST of the time it doesn't.

You can't ping the remote if W.3.1.x but you Can ping either the Win95
or Macintosh remote.

I've been going around with this for about 3 weeks now.
