Not trying to speak for livingston here, but it seems to me that they're
not trying to make you beg for changes, they're just asking for more
information, so that they can make the best changes, that help the largest
number of their customers, so that their time is spent more efficiently,
and they can remain competitive.. If they implimented every suggestion,
they'd either not have time to do any of them, or they wouldn't have time
to do any of them right.

On the other hand, his response probably could have been written a little
better, and I'll agree that the reasons that you (and I) would like to see
that addition, and why it's a pain in the ass not to have it, seem like
they should be pretty self evident. I suppose to get anything done though,
it makes his life easier to have a few printouts from customers that he
can just take and give to the engineers and say: here, this is why we need
this changed. It really seems like a pretty easy/risk free thing to add
to comOS though..
