Ummm... If a 14.4K modem connected at 19200bps, you don't REALLY know
what speed it's connecting at. A 14.4K modem is capable of connecting at
14400bps max. Anything higher is DTE (Speed from terminal to modem) as
opposed to DCE (Speed from modem to modem), so they could be connecting at
9600bps, or 4800bps.
