My question is why in the world would you buy Lucent, when they are
not compatible with USR X2??? Most users (at least in this neck of
the woods) are using USR X2, so why would the ISP want to use
something that is not compaitble???

Not that X2 is the standard as proclaimed, but if all the endusers
use them, (or most of them), are the end users proclaiming a defacto
standard???
