Also, he needs to make sure he didnt upgrade his linux kernel or version
of syslog (that is if he is using linux). the newwer versions of syslog
require you to add -r to it to accept remote syslog data. If he didnt
change anything on the server tho, then its just a setup prob with the
portmonster.
