OK Just a reminder on what CRC and BPV are telling you at the CSU/DSU. If
you are receiving BPV's it is telling you that the B8ZS/ESF Signal is
unreadable.
Now if you are receiving a CRC, that is telling you that the information
on the signal is errored.
What this means as far as troubleshooting is if you are getting CRC's with
no BPV's, nothing is damaged from the CO to the CSU/DSU --because if it
was, then the signal would have been disrupted and a BPV would have
shown up on the CSU/DSU.
Now with only 460 CRC errors it does not mean you have a telco problem.
Check the setting again to see if the number is increasing. If it is call
the problem into the telco.
Your problem with the NO SERVICE sounds like a possible miss-configuration
double check you Switch Type and if you would a globle configuration cut
and paste would probably be a little more helpfull.
