It does not have to be in the address pool assigned to the portmaster. I
have had this problem in the past I run radius NT and the user logged in
with his user name in all caps and it just assigned him an address from the
pool but when the user logs in in lower case it works fine. So I just added
another entry into the radius user file for all caps and lower case.

Subject: (PM) IP assigned to a User

I am trying to set an specific ip address to a user when he connects.

I set up an user record in radius and specify the address, but it isn?t
work.

My question is:

The specified address must be in the pool range of pm3 ? If yes, how can
I share these address between multiples boxes ?
