Once upon a time Jeff Greer shaped the electrons to say...
>I have seen a problem with my PM2 3.7.2.
>Simply stated, it does not send a reset command to the modem after using

Reset command? What do you mean by that?

After a session disconnects a PM should toggle DTR - that's it. It does
not send anything to the modem in the way of an AT command. The reset
signal is the DTR toggle - the modem should be configured to reset when DTR
drops. If DTR is not dropping, then something is off.

The only time the PM would send AT setting strings to a PM is if the modem
table is being used, and a modem is configured on the port, and then ONLY
following a reboot or an administrative reset of the port.
