Possibly, but near as I can tell doing some extensive searching on the
Lucent website, the 1675 is a direct evolution of the Venus DSP1675 and not
a departure. Seems like just a brush up - DSP technology evolves rapidly.
The new big gun is the 16000 series, which I believe is in development for
the next-generation modem cards in the PM-4. If I understand what I've
read well enough, they can do 3-4 modems per DSP and have onboard memory
instead of requiring external RAM chips.
