Your actions in supporting a (sometimes not so appreciative) community of
strangers will always stand to me as a classic example of the strengths of
the "internet community". One man, contributing his own efforts(with the
blessings of Livingston, btw), and those efforts being magnified throughout
many cities and towns around the country by those he helped.
In many ways your support, at that critical time when a lot of ISP's were
just getting started, may actually have made you one of the most
influential people in allowing individuals starting these small businesses
to provide quality service, thus allowing the "great unwashed" to get out
on this jumble of baling wire and duct tape we call the internet.
You should be proud of the work you've accomplished. I know I'm damn proud
to know you.
Now get some rest, and we'll see you in New Orleans!
