That is the "Lucent Win Modem" customized somewhat for Compaq. 1.3.12 only
does K56flex, not V.90. Lucent generic 5.49 at
http://www.lucent.com/micro/K56flex/driver2.html will work fine on this
modem. There should be an older Compaq upgrade available, but I don't have
a URL handy. It can be a little tricky to navigate http://www.compaq.com to
find the modem code.
