The one really interesting thing about Cisco is that the AS5100 is based
on the USR Total Control rack which as most know uses the USR Quad Digital
Modem cards. So now Cisco now releases the AS5200 which now uses the
Microcom analog technology instead of the Digital USR's.

I know the USR TC modems, and the Ascend Digital modems work extremely well,
so one has to really wonder why Cisco would switch over to an Analog based
solution. About the only reason I can come up with is price...
