Gandalf and PM3?

I'm trying to get a Gandalf 5242i Edge Router to talk to my PM3. The
Gandalf is doing PAP, and has compression and spoofing disabled. When
the Gandalf calls the PM3, the connection drops within a second or so,
and nothing is logged on the Gandalf.

Any ideas?
