Gandalf just put out a new version of code for the 5242i Edge Router - it works
for one of my customers (the only one who has a Gandalf).
Before he got the new code, I had him on a PM2 with a 5BRI card with PAP off and
CHAP on. You can also turn on the PPP trace as John Thompson suggested if you
want to see what it really going on.
